The Role of Renewable Energy Resources in Generation Expansion Planning and GHG Emission Reduction: A Case Study of West Papua

Abstract: The impact of the implementation of the renewable energy power plant to GHG emission has been analyzed in this study. Four types of the renewable power plant have been simulated in the model which are hydro, biomass, solar, and wind power plant. The bottom-up model has been developed to conduct the analysis.
