The role of β-blockers in patients with metabolic syndrome and hypertension

Abstract: A hypertoniás betegek kezelésének megválasztásakor nem elegendő egyedül a vérnyomásértéket figyelembe venni, mivel a cardiovascularis megbetegedések kockázatát az egyéb kockázati tényezők jelenléte, illetve mértéke is befolyá-solja. A társult anyagcsere-betegség (diabetes mellitus, metabolikus szindróma) jelenléte már önmagában a nagy kockázatú egyének közé sorolja a beteget.
