The Rotor Speed Choice of Signal Acquisition in a Ball Bearing-rotor System with a Raceway Local Defect Based on Dynamic Analysis

Abstract: We intend to exploit the vibration status such as the resonance existed in a faulty bearing-rotor system on signal acquisition for diagnosis in this paper. We establish a symmetrical bearing-rotor-pedestal system to do the dynamic response analysis. The theoretical analysis indicates the resonances excited by the excitations can enhance the response in low-frequency range as well as the response in high-frequency range because the pulse energy produced by bearing defect increases under this situation.
