Abstract: Intestinal inflammatory disease induced by excessive soy protein substitutions for fish meal (FM) protein is a common phenomenon. The pearl gentian grouper, Epinephelus fuscoguttatus♀ × Epinephelus lanceolatus♂, a marine fish with important economical and nutritional values, exhibited a similar problem.
