The Small Scale Effect on the Dynamic Behavior of Cantilever and Fixed-Fixed Nano-Switches

Abstract: Abstract-Based on the conventional Euler bucking model and the effective nonlocal elasticity theory, the dynamic behaviors of cantilever and fixed-fixed nano-switches are studied in this paper. The governing equations for the dynamic response of the nano-switches including small-scale effect are derived by using the energy variational method.
