A finite element model of a two-layer thick-walled spherical shell under temperature and force exposure was developed in the ANSYS Mechanical APDL software package. In order to verify the numerical solution of the thermomechanical problem based on the equations of the inhomogeneous bodies’ elasticity theory, an analytical solution of the problem under consideration in spherical coordinates was obtained, the results of which were compared with the numerical solution.
