The Sound of Silence: An Immersive Approach to Spearfishermen's Ecological Knowledge Along the Dakar Coastline

Abstract: At the crossroads of sensory anthropology and underwater bioacoustics, this article offers an immersive approach to garner the knowledge and perceptions of Dakar underwater fishermen.
