“…The higher (~ 30.4) ACL values during late MIS 6 are consistent with the dominant presence of grassland vegetation composed of an association of Poaceae, conifers (Araucaria and Podocarpus), and shrubs 30 as the ones noted today at high elevation in the state of Paraná (southern Brazil) 54 . Toward the Last Interglacial, the vegetation composition uctuated with the same species as during the penultimate glacial, except for the Poaceae, which decreased sharply, allowing shrubs to expand 55 .
