The Special Features of the Iraqi Distribution Electric Power Networks

Abstract: The paper examines the impact of distributed generation facilities on the operating parameters of Iraq’s 33/11 kV distribution networks. The performed calculation of steady-state and post-emergency modes in the RastrWin3 software package showed that the networks are overloaded and therefore the voltage and power losses in the nodes and branches reach their limits.
