“…The ecosystem in Karaj watershed consists of about 44 species of medicinal herbs, phytoplanktons (42 species of diatoms), 24 families of macroinvertebrates and macrobenthos, 17 species of mammals, 418 species of resident birds, diverse species of migrant birds, reptiles (Testudines, Saurian and Serpents), amphibians (salamander and frog), fishes and insects (three orders of aquatic insects: Ephemeroptera, Diptera and Trichoptera) (Kheiri et al, 2018; Shargh Ayand Consulting Engineers, 2016; Taban et al, 2018, 2019; Torabian et al, 2011; Vatandoost et al, 2018).
