The Stability of Perbenzoic Acid Prepared without the Use of Alkali-metal Alcoholates.

Abstract: x-radiograms of aluminum black made in air and hydrogen are identical, there is no reason for assuming that the colloidal particles are stabilized by traces of aluminum oxide. The black color of colloidal aluminum, like that of colloidal gold or platinum, is attributed to the size and shape of the agglomerates of the primary particles.
