The stagnation of anti-corruption studies on Russia: what should be done to reverse the situation?

Abstract: The literature on anti-corruption in Russia is characterized by the prevalence of broad studies and a lack of infield research. This paper illustrates the need to expand the research focus and to investigate the processes taking place within civil society. By focusing on neglections, this work proposes new research approaches.
