The Stoke Mandeville diabetes record system ‐effective management and teamwork without a computer

Abstract: A complete purpose‐designed diabetes record system was introduced for the hospital‐based diabetes service at Stoke Mandeville in 1982. It seeks to overcome many of the deficiencies inherent in hospital records and has proved effective, easy to use, and inexpensive.
