“…We therefore rely on "a priori" theorizing to identify such determinants, as well as prior empirical evidence in the existing literature for guidance on the list of explanatory variables. As stated earlier, the two studies which have addressed this specific issue are Chiou, Cheng and Wu (2006) and Nunn (1981).
