The Structure and Communicative Import of Selected Proverbs in Nzema Language and Culture

Abstract: Adopting an Ethno-pragmatics framework, the current study aims to describe the sentential structures and communicative imports of selected proverbs in Nzema, a Kwa language of Ghana, West Africa.
