The Structure of Ethnic Identity of Adolescents in Contemporary Crosscultural Space

Abstract

Москва, Миусская пл., д. 6, Российская Федерация Аннотация.В статье представлены результаты эмпирического исследования структуры этнической идентичности подростков, сделан обзор научной психологической литературы, выделены значимые труды исследователей в этойобласти. Исследование было проведено в московской городской общеобразовательной школе № 170 имени А.П. Чехова и исмаиллинской средней школе № 1 имени И.А. Гасанова. Респондентами в исследовании были выбраны 251 подросток, из них 127 -из московской школы и 124 -из исмаиллинской школы. Для изучения структуры этнической идентичности была использована методика Дж. Финни «Этническая идентичность». В результате исследования автор пришёл к выводу, что: структура этнической идентичности включает два компонента; уровень этнической идентичностиисмаиллинских подростков выше, чем у московских сверстников; уровень когнитивного и аффективного компонента у исмаиллинских подростков также преобладает над московскими подростками;аффективный компонент этнической идентичности у московских и исмаиллинских подростков выше, чем когнитивный компонент.Ключевые слова: этническая идентичность, аффективный компонент, когнитивный компонент, подросток, окружающая среда. Аbstract. The article presents the results of empirical research on the structure of ethnic identity of adolescents. Scientific psychological literature is reviewed, significant works of researchers in this area are highlighted. The research was carried out in Moscow city secondary school № 170 named after A. P. Chekhov and Ismailli secondary school № 1 named after I. I. Hasanov. 251 teenagers were selected as respondents to the study. 127 of them were from the Moscow school and 124 teenagers -from the Ismailli school. In order to study the structure of ethnic identity J. Finney's method of "Ethnic identity" was chosen. As a result of the study the conclusion was drawn that the structure of ethnic identity includes two components. Besides, the level of ethnic identity of Ismayilli adolescents is higher than their Moscow peers. It is important that the level of cognitive and affective component of Ismayilli teenagers also prevails
