“…This investigation work was carried out at a high level, which is confirmed by the data of the modern scientific literature describing similar studies [ 3 , 18 – 20 , 22 , 23 ]. The obtained findings have an important significance as they confirm the toxicological safety of the dental gel and allow us to recommend it for further clinical trials as a tool of dental therapy.…”

“…The study of acute toxicity of the drug during preclinical investigation is an essential step in the drug development process [ 23 ]. According to the data of this study, the application of the new dental gel on mice of both genders in doses from 500 to 2000 mg/kg does not cause toxicity.…”

“…The reaction to the test feed additive was monitored immediately after its use and during the next 14 days. The criteria to assess acute toxicity were feed intake, the clinical picture of intoxication, the number of died animals, the time of their death, and diagnostic autopsy of individual animals [12].…”

“…Numerous inprogress clinical trials research the possibility of using pectins as a matrix of drug delivery for the treatment of colorectal cancer 12 . High bioavailability of Fe and anti-anemic properties are shown for pectin complexes -Na, Fepolygalac-turonate, and Na, Ca, Fe polygalacturonate and for the latter there is no antagonism between Fe and Ca 13 and absence of toxicity 14 . From the foregoing, we can expect that the complexation of ASA with pectin can lead to both an increase and a decrease in biological activity due to changes in bioavailability, as well as to the manifestation of new properties.…”
