“…Deposits of the UU are thicker in the depressions of the basement top; they comprise a set of seismic facies (SF‐2 to SF‐5) most of which display similar patterns with layered, parallel reflections. Comparison with other seismic studies in Fuegian lakes (i.e., Lozano, Tassone, Bran, et al, 2018; Lozano, Tassone, Lodolo, et al, 2018; Waldmann et al, 2010; Waldmann, Ariztegui, Anselmetti, Coronato, & Austin Jr., 2010), or even in Brazo Rico and Brazo Sur (Lodolo, Donda, et al, 2020; Lodolo, Lozano, et al, 2020; Lozano et al, 2020) suggests that this configuration represents a glacio‐lacustrine sedimentation type. The lithology of the UU might be analogous to the three uppermost units of varves and rhythmites identified in the core sampled at Bahía Iveco (Del Valle et al, 1995).…”
