The Synchronisation Of Motion Capture Results In The Animation Character Reinforcement Process

Abstract: Animation is a collection of frames that express a motion activity. The animation consists of actors, characters and performance components that present a story — one of the technologies in making an animation with motion capture. The results of catching motion in the form of motion record data are then synchronised to animated characters. However, the problem is that there are difficulties in synchronising animated characters with the results of catching motion so that the motion can be more subtle. On captur… Show more

The results of the arrest of the actor (BVH) are then made an adjustment process to synchronize the motion to the animated character, starting from the body's reinforcement settings, the rhythm of motion, time and suitability of the motion [11], [12].…”

“…In reality, the limited number of talents with certain professional standards and artistic attainments has led to China's stagnation in the field of animation design, seriously lagging behind European and American countries. At present, although the three-dimensional animation software led by MAYA and 2DMax is more successful, it requires users to have a certain level of professionalism to achieve proficiency [15][16]. Therefore, industry experts, scientists, and technicians hope that animation production technology can be further improved in a more intelligent, automated direction [17][18].…”

“…Zhang, Z. et al put forward a framework for the creation of demonstrative teaching animation based on human-computer interaction and intelligent algorithms, which is applied to the blended The teaching of the experimental class shows that the proposed framework can effectively create a virtual teacher for course teaching, and the students also recognize the animation demonstration of the virtual teacher, which can be easy for the students to observe and imitate, and achieve good teaching effects [12]. Sutopo, J. et al pointed out that motion capture is one of the core techniques in animation production, which captures movements in the form of motion data recording, which in turn is synchronized with the animation [13]. Eom, H. et al proposed a generative motion decomposition framework to solve the complex character motion capture problem and experimentally confirmed the effectiveness of the proposed framework, which can provide great flexibility for complex motion decomposition followed by synthesis [14].…”
