The Syntheses and Properties of Molybdenum(VI)-Amino Acids Complexes

Abstract: New compounds of the Mo(VI)2O7H3(Am)ntype (where HAm=glycine, DL-alamine, DLMethionine, or L-Leucine) were obtained from an acidic aqueous solution (pH= 1) containing sodium molybdate and amino acid. These compounds seem to be isostructural with each other, and all are diamagnetic.
