Abstract:New compounds of the Mo(VI)2O7H3(Am)ntype (where HAm=glycine, DL-alamine, DLMethionine, or L-Leucine) were obtained from an acidic aqueous solution (pH= 1) containing sodium molybdate and amino acid. These compounds seem to be isostructural with each other, and all are diamagnetic. Their infrared spectra show characteristic v(Mo=O) bands. The ethylenediaminetetraacetato chelates of molybdenum(VI) and (V) have already been stud-
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
