However, the strong psychometric properties of measures of broad personality traits (e.g., C. J. Soto & John, 2017) combined with the stability of broad personality traits over time (e.g., Bloeser, Canache, Mitchell, Mondak, & Poore, 2015; Willie, De Fruyt, & Feys, 2013) and across cultures (John et al, 2008) make them an attractive option to examine as predictors of social justice engagement among professional counselors.
