Abstract: Growing evidence suggests that dipeptidyl peptidase 4 (DPP4) inhibitors, in addition to their role in improving glycemic control, help to reduce endothelial dysfunction and have hypolipidemic, anti-atherosclerotic, antitumor, antiviral, and neurotropic properties.
