Abstract:Early work on meteorite thermoluminescence, influenced by pottery dating and dosimetry applications, demonstrated a relationship between natural thermoluminescence and (1) the orbital perihelion of a meteorite and (2) the terrestrial age (time since fall) of a meteorite.
