G Ge er re eç ç v ve e Y Yö ön nt te em ml le er r: : Araştırma, Şubat-Mart 2018 tarihleri arasında, bir üniversite hastanesinin polikliniklerine gelen, araştırmanın amacı ve araştırmadan beklentiler hakkında bilgilendirme yapılmış olan ve araştırmaya katılmaya istekli olan 644 birey ile gerçekleştirildi. Araştırmada, araştırmacılar tarafından oluşturulan veri toplama araçları kullanıldı. B Bu ul lg gu ul la ar r: : Çalışmaya katılan bireylerin %65,4'ü kadın, %34,6'sı erkek, çoğunluğunun yaş aralığı (%46) 17-36 yıl, %31,7'si 37-51 yaş grubunda idi. Araştırmada özel bölgenin tıraşının yapılması için erkekler kesinlikle erkek (%97,2), kadınlar da kadın hemşire (%96,1) tercih ettiğini belirtti. Erkeklerin hemşirelik girişimi ihtiyaçlarında çoğunlukla erkek hemşireleri, kadınların da çoğunlukla kadın hemşireleri tercih ettikleri saptandı. Çalışmada bireyler, erkek hemşirelerin sadece erkek (%39,3) kadın hemşirelerin ise sadece kadın hastalara (%41,9) bakım vermelerine ve hemşireliğin kadın mesleği olduğuna (%40,7) katılmadıklarını belirttiler. Erkek hemşirelerin de kadın hemşireler gibi her serviste çalışmaları gerektiğine katıldıkları (%35,2) belirlendi.
