The topical application of clofibrate in the treatment of acne vulgaris

Abstract: Acne vulgaris is a common skin disease.The therapeutic approach to this disease includes standard topical and systemic agents to newlyintroduced alternative medications.This study suggests a new indication for clofibrate (the lipid lowering agent) & that is to be usedtopically in the treatment of acne vulgaris.
