The treatment of traumatic shock: recent advances and unresolved questions

Abstract: Uncontrolled bleeding remains a leading cause of potentially preventable death after trauma. Timely, adequate resuscitation in traumatic shock is an essential, lifesaving aspect of polytrauma care.
