“…[22] Reported strain sensing of a silver carbon composite screen printed strain gauge on TPU by applying different loads on the sensor to observe the resistance changes. [28] Studied the sensing behaviour of flexible conductive PDMS/NCG nickel coated graphite composite fabricated by natural sedimentation method. The author reported resistance of the sensors were increased and then decreased when the sensor was under twisting, stretching and bending mode.…”

“…The author reported resistance of the sensors were increased and then decreased when the sensor was under twisting, stretching and bending mode. [26]- [28] used bending property for applying mechanical strain to the sensor which were used mostly in human motion detection and soft robotics. Another method to give strain to the sensor is stretching, in which force is applied in the opposite direction on the sensor.…”

“…Nickel-plated graphite (NCG) is a new low-cost conductive filler that combines the excellent electrical conductivity and electromagnetic shielding properties of nickel with the good self-lubricating properties of graphite, 16 however, the high density of NCG with micron-level filler tends to settle and agglomerate in the resin matrix, which is not conducive to the formation of conduction paths and limits the electrical conductivity of its composites. Zhang et al 17,18 prepared flexible conductive polydimethylsiloxane/NCG composites by the modulated settling method and one-step settling method using its settling properties. Boumedienne et al 19 placed molded samples on rotating rollers in a 100 C oven for 1 h in order to prevent the dense metal particles in the epoxy matrix from settling during polymerization, and the rotation of the curing process facilitated a more even distribution of the filler in all directions of the composite.…”
