The Two-way Street between Periodontal Diseases and Diabetes

Abstract: Periodontitis is a chronic inflammatory disease that is initiated by the accumulation of dental biofilm, where dysbiosis leads to a chronic non-resolving condition, and destructive inflammatory response.
