The US National Cholesterol Education Programme Adult Treatment Panel III (NCEP ATP III) prevalence of the metabolic syndrome in a Chinese population

Abstract: To assess the prevalence of the metabolic syndrome disease cluster in the Hong Kong Chinese population we applied the US National Cholesterol Education Programme Adult Treatment Panel III (NCEP ATP III) guidelines.
