“…In the fourth cohort study selected, Thomson et al 40 evaluated pediatric patients with non-variceal UGIB, comparing outcomes in a group of 17 patients with ages ranging from 1 day to 16 years who were treated with TC-325 with those reported for a historical cohort of 29 children previously treated with conventional endoscopic techniques. Initial hemostasis was achieved in 100 % of the patients in both groups.…”

“…In addition, these drugs, due to their ability to cover vast areas with multiple bleeding points, are appropriate choices for treating bleeding from hemorrhagic gastritis, gastric artery ecstasy, mucosal damage caused by radiotherapy, and hemorrhage associated with malignancy. 18 In this study, a 3-month follow-up survey did not show any specific complication due to drug use. In an animal study, all mice and rabbits treated with Hemostasis powder® solution were killed and all of their end organs as well as the stomach were sent for pathological examination to determine the probability of toxicity of the solution, which showed no pathological lesions in these organs.…”

“…Indeed 19% admitted that those interventions were beyond the technical capability of any of their staff. Only just over a half of the centers had an out-of-hours call service, of which 69% was covered by pediatric surgeons, who were also often unfamiliar with most of the techniques required (17). In this regard, a technique which is easily accessible even for less-experienced endoscopists is extremely valuable.…”
