The Use of Biomass as a Renewable Energy Source in a Fluidized Bed Combustion Plant

Abstract: The use of renewable energy sources (RES), which also includes waste biomass, is a current national and global concern for sustainable development by reducing greenhouse gas emissions (GHG). Partial replacement of fossil fuels with biomass is a possibility, together with other sources of nonpolluting energy production such as hydropower, wind, solar and geothermal, to reduce greenhouse gas emissions as the amount of CO 2 resulting from the combustion of biomass is equal to that captured during its training.
