The Use of Cobalt/Ruthenium Catalyst Supported in Sba-15 in the Promotion of Fischer-Tropsch Synthesis

Abstract: The aim of this work is to produce a cobalt/ruthenium catalyst supported in SBA-15, for Fischer-Tropsch synthesis (FTS). The synthesis was carried out in a slurry reactor operating at 513 K, 20 atm, and CO:H 2 molar ratio of 1:1. The addition of cobalt in SBA-15 decreased the specific superficial area of the molecular sieve. The ranges of temperature reduction typical of iron oxides phases were found using RTP results.
