To combine the advantages of both CDs and polysaccharides, the CD grafted polysaccharides, such as cellulose and cationic starch, have gained interest because they can be widely used in various fields (Buschmann et al 1998;Gao and Zhao 2004;Martel et al 2002;Ozmen and Yilmaz 2007;Xiao et al 2007;Grigoriu et al 2011;Cusola et al 2013).
