“…In ACS patients with older age, with more comorbidities (i.e., renal failure), with more previous cardiovascular events, with complex coronary anatomy are more likely to receive clopidogrel and not ticagrelor or prasugrel, and are less likely to undergo an invasive strategy and to be treated with a drug eluting stent (DES) compared to a bare metal stent 10 .
