The Use of Humourous Texts in Improving ESL Learners’ Vocabulary Comprehension and Retention

Abstract: Successful language acquisition requires extensive word knowledge. However, learners are reportedly unable to increase their word knowledge due to insufficient meaningful input in the language classrooms.
