“…[6] Recent evaluations in patients with DMD have demonstrated moderate reproducibility of echocardiographic measures of LV function and a correlation coefficient of only 0.67 between fractional shortening (FS) by echocardiography and left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) by cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (CMR).
