Abstract:Old Wallow is an underexplored, hyper-arid coastal desert in Antarctica’s Vestfold Hills. Situated near an elephant seal wallow, we examined how stochastic nutrient inputs from the seal wallow affect soil communities amid environmental changes along a spatially explicit sampling transect.
