The X-Rotor Offshore Wind Turbine Concept

Abstract: The following paper provides an overview of a novel wind turbine concept known as the X-Rotor Offshore Wind Turbine. The X-Rotor is a new wind turbine concept that aims to reduce the cost of energy from offshore wind. Cost reductions are achieved through reduced capital costs and reduced maintenance costs.
