Theoretical Aspects of the Formation of Agro-Industrial Clusters in Russian Economy

Abstract

В статье рассматриваются теоретические аспекты формирования агропро-мышленных кластеров в системе национальной экономики, включая историю развития кластерной теории; обосновывается возможность использования преимуществ кластеров в аграрной сфере национальной экономики. В авторской гипотезе формального струк-турно-логического моделирования организации агропромышленных кластеров предлага-ется их рассматривать как возможную траекторию трансформации форм хозяйствования в России. Отдельно выделяется функция агрохолдингов как «точек» формирования про-фильных клаcтеров; подчеркивается важность создания необходимых институциональ-ных условий для формирования эффективных агропромышленных кластеров в России. The article examines the theoretical and methodological bases of agro-industrial clusters; it focuses on the development of the cluster theory and substantiates the possibility of using clusters with regard to the agricultural sector of the national economy. The authors advance a working hypothesis considering the agro-industrial cluster model as a possible route for the transformation of the Russian economy. The function of agricultural holdings as «points» of forming branch-specific clusters is highlighted and the importance of creating necessary institutional conditions for the formation of agro-industrial clusters in Russia is underlined.
