Theoretical description of the spectrum of emission of a droplet of ethanol solution of rhodamine 6G under femtosecond laser irradiation

Abstract: Spectral features of the Stokes emission from an ethanol droplet with dissolved Rhodamine 6G under femtosecond laser irradiation are explained based on numerical solution of the equations for light field spectral density, formulated by the authors. A correlation between the considered spectrum formation model and experimental data is possible only with accounting for the spatial inhomogeneity of excited matter in the droplet focus.
