Therapeutic alternatives for the prevention of intra peritoneal adhesions

Abstract: Intestinal adhesions are bands of fibrous tissue created by the intimate contact of two injured surface tissues; these appear in 93% of the patient undergoing intra-abdominal or gastrointestinal surgery.
