Abstract:This article summarizes the neurobiology of Parkinson's disease and medicinal chemistry relevant to treatment of this neurodegenerative disorder with neuropsychiatric complications. The article also surveys basic clinical features of Parkinson's disease, its neuropathophysiology and etiology.
