Therapeutic effect of umbelliferon-α-D-glucopyranosyl-(2I→1II)-α-D-glucopyranoside on adjuvant-induced arthritic rats

Abstract: The aim and objective of the present investigation was to evaluate the antiarthritic and antioxidant effect of umbelliferon-α-D-glucopyranosyl-(2I→1II)-α-D-glucopyranoside (UFD) in chemically induced arthritic rats. The different doses of the UFD were tested against the turpentine oil (TO), formaldehyde induced acute arthritis and complete fruend's adjuvant (CFA) induced chronic arthritis in Wistar rats.
