Therapeutic non-invasive brain stimulation in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis: rationale, methods and experience

Abstract: The neurodegenerative syndrome amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is characterised by increased cortical excitability, thought to reflect pathological changes in the balance of local excitatory and inhibitory neuronal influences.
