Abstract: Purpose The majority of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) have multiple risk factors for cardiovascular disease (CVD). Low‐density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL‐C) is a key therapeutic target to reduce CVD risk.
