Microbial biofilm accumulation poses a serious threat to the environment, presents significant challenges to different industries, and exhibits a large impact on public health. Since there has not been a conclusive answer found despite various efforts, the potential green and economical methods are being focused on, particularly the innovative approaches that employ biochemical agents. In the present study, we propose a bio-nanotechnological method using magnetic cross-linked polyphenol oxidase aggregates (PPO m-CLEA) for inhibition of microbial biofilm including multidrug resistant bacteria. Free PPO solution showed only 55–60% biofilm inhibition, whereas m-CLEA showed 70–75% inhibition, as confirmed through microscopic techniques. The carbohydrate and protein contents in biofilm extracellular polymeric substances (EPSs) were reduced significantly. The m-CLEA demonstrated reusability up to 5 cycles with consistent efficiency in biofilm inhibition. Computational work was also done where molecular docking of PPO with microbial proteins associated with biofilm formation was conducted, resulting in favorable binding scores and inter-residual interactions. Overall, both in vitro and in silico results suggest that PPO interferes with microbial cell attachment and EPS formation, thereby preventing biofilm colonization.

Recent advancements in gut microbiome research have highlighted the complex interplay between gut microbiota and various physiological and pathological processes, showing that gut microbiota plays a vital role in human health and disease. Imbalances in the gut microbiota, known as dysbiosis, have been associated with a range of health conditions, including gastrointestinal disorders, metabolic diseases, etc. In response to these findings, probiotics, prebiotics, synbiotics, and postbiotics have emerged as a promising therapeutic strategy to modulate gut microbiota composition and functionality. This review paper explores the latest research on how gut microbiota impacts host physiology, immune responses, and overall well-being. Furthermore, the paper delves into the therapeutic potential of probiotics, postbiotics, prebiotics, and synbiotics in therapeutic applications and curing various diseases. The paper also addresses the challenges and opportunities in the field, highlighting the need for personalized approaches to probiotic therapy and the importance of considering factors such as strain specificity, dosing, and safety.Overall, this review aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the evolving landscape of gut microbiota and probiotics, prebiotics, synbiotics, and postbiotics as novel therapeutic agents. It underscores the potential of harnessing the gut microbiome to improve health, prevent diseases, and complement traditional medical interventions. Objectives: To compare Ras-related associated with diabetes )RRAD( across different species and to identify specific biomarkers for cancer therapy. Methods:The study involves comparing the coding sequences, genes, messenger ribonucleic acid )RNA(, non-coding RNA, open reading frame, short-and long-sequence repeats, and transcription factors of RRAD genes from 82 species. Various tools and software are employed for these comparisons, and evolutionary analysis was carried out to understand the gene's evolutionary history. The data are classified based on forward and reverse sequences.Results: Our analysis indicates that ACTG1 may function as a downstream effector of RRAD, offering potential avenues for diabetes and cancer treatments. By collecting RRAD sequences from 82 species Original Articleand carrying out comparative genomics, this study provides diverse strategies for developing biomarkerbased therapeutics. Furthermore, it suggests using RRAD in other organisms as a model for studying the knockdown effects of specific sequence sets. The study presents RRAD sequences from 82 organisms across different families, contributing to a diverse knowledge base for identifying drug-designing biomarkers. Conclusion:This research offers insights into the potential of RRAD as a therapeutic target in various organisms and highlights the importance of biomarker identification in drug development.
