Abstract: SummaryMicrogliosis and neuroinflammation are prominent features of Alzheimer’s disease (AD). Disease-responsive microglia meet their increased energy demand by reprogramming metabolism, specifically, switching to favor glycolysis over oxidative phosphorylation.
