Therapeutic touch and therapeutic alliance in pediatric care and neonatology: An active inference framework

Abstract: Therapeutic affective touch has been recognized as essential for survival, nurturing supportive interpersonal interactions, accelerating recovery—including reducing hospitalisations, and promoting overall health and building robust therapeutic alliances.
