Therapeutisch wirksame Phosphonate: Ergebnisse aus 30 Jahren Entwicklungsarbeiten ber Polyphosphonsuren

Abstract: Therapeutically Active Phosphonates: Results from 30 Years of Development Concerning Polyphosphonic Acids During the last three decades pharmacologically active phosphonates played a significant role in medical research. Looking for phosphate substitutes in various technical applications, we also dealt, to a limited extent, with this topic. Newly synthesized complexing agents like hydroxy‐, amino‐ and carboxyl alkane phosphonic acids and derivatives thereof such as cis‐Diammine[nitrilotris(methylphosphonato)(2… Show more

“…They find various applications, for example, in catalysis, sorption of heavy metal ions in solution, as ion exchangers, sensors, proton conductors, and as “metal organic frameworks” (MOFs) . In medical and pharmaceutical applications, the phosphonates can regulate the calcium phosphate metabolism . They are used to combine organic materials like polymer‐based dental materials with the dentin surface strongly .…”

“…[7][8][9][10] In medical and pharmaceutical applications, the phosphonates can regulate the calcium phosphate metabolism. [11][12][13] They are used to combine organic materials like polymer-based dental materials with the dentin surface strongly. [14][15][16] In presence of suitable metal ions, the formation of soluble and insoluble complexes are possible.…”
