Abstract:The prevalence of bronchiectasis not due to cystic fibrosis (NCFB) increases with older age. Because of multifaceted etiology of bronchiectasis an extensive diagnostic approach is essential. This includes in-depth anamnesis and a high resolution CT scan of the chest (HRCT).
